Volunteer For Us

Our volunteers are vital in helping us run the wide range of activities and services that we provide and fundraising for renovating our halls.  We value their time and commitment very much.

As a volunteer you'll be contributing to the community, meeting new people, gaining valuable work experience and adding skills to your CV.

We need help

  • in our Early Years Hub

  • fundraising

  • with our 55+ and Men's social clubs

  • with the 4H Community Garden

  • in Reception

Or maybe you have skills and experience in other areas that you'd like to contribute.

Fill in the google form on the link below to apply or call 0207 272 1847 if you would like to find out more about volunteering for us.

 Our Volunteers

"Being made redundant hit me very hard and was a horrible experience to go through.  I lost what little confidence I had and seeing how the world of work had changed over 18 years was very scary and overwhelming for me.  The support that I receive from everyone at the Centre is wonderful and knowing that I am helping a centre that provides so much to the community is very rewarding."

Without Loan, our previous fundraising staff member, and our fantastic fundraising volunteer team who met weekly for seven months, we would never have raised the money we needed to renovate our beautiful old building. They helped run events, door knocked, picked up staging for John Hegley's show, collected donations from GAIL'S bakery, ran fundraising stalls, shook collection buckets and helped us exceed our 50:90 campaign target!

They said their experience of volunteering on the campaign was
'collaborative, challenging, rewarding'
.
