Fun Day 13th October, 2018

What a difference a day makes!  We were blessed with sunshine on our Fun Day and the next day it poured with rain! Huge thanks to everyone who helped make the day a success, including everyone who baked for the tea and cake stall, our lovely volunteers who helped out on the day and helped spread the word about the day and the launch of the 50:90 campaign, together with the Islington Tribune and the Islington Gazette, teachers who gave taster sessions of ballroom dance, tai chi, yoga, zumba, fun sports, the Urban Wild Spaces team who did willow weaving and sow and grow pots, and EVERYONE who came along!

Watch this space for more pics that we’ll be posting, courtesy of Stephen Swain who kindly came and took photos on the day.

Despite the stairs, a mum with buggy and two ninety year old ladies made it up all the stairs to Upper Hocking Hall. We need to put in that lift!
