Whittington Park Community Association (WPCA) is a community centre in Whittington Park between Holloway Road, Tufnell Park and Archway.

This is our Vision
‘That our users can come together to experience opportunities for personal enrichment and well-being’.

This is our Mission
‘To provide a welcoming and well-run centre for individuals and groups in Islington to sustain and develop a vibrant community’.

The Centre has been used by generations of families and communities who live around the area of Whittington Park in London, N19.  Come and have a look at our photo gallery on the stairwell of Upper Hocking Hall to see the adventure playground, Whittington Park festivals and groups which thrived here in the 1970s.

Today we are still a vibrant and busy centre with a cafe, a community nursery, an after school club, an over 60s lunch club, an Under 5s Hub which runs a service for childminders in the morning and a ‘Stay and Play’ afternoon session for families.

We host a wide range of classes for all ages including yoga, gentle exercise for our older users, Argentine tango and ballroom dancing for over 55s, keep fit, tai chi, hula hooping, yoga, pilates and zumba. Please click here to see our timetable May – June Timetable

Our halls and rooms  are available for hire for meetings, classes and social events.  By renting a space from us you are helping to fund the running of the centre and its services. Please click here to find out more about our room hire Room Hire Pack 2017

OFFICE HOURS:  9:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday – Activities and classes often run outside these hours.
